The future of NBC's "The Weakest Link" is questionable, but there's no question about how host Anne Robinson views Americans. In an interview with Britain's Daily Mirror, Robinson made it clear that she thinks Americans -- from the show's guests to President Bush -- are kind of dumb, according to the New York Daily News. "On one U.S. show, I asked a young soap star how many minutes there were in half an hour," said Robinson. "And she said 60." The quiz-show host also recounts a Bush blunder she witnessed: "I saw George Bush at a benefit concert actually waving at Stevie Wonder. Someone had to tell him, 'He can't see you.' " NBC declined to comment on Robinson's remarks.

Contrary to Anne's position that Americans are too dumb to watch her show, viewers are smart enough to change the channel

I don't know why she is blaming the entire country for her show's dismissal in the United States! It was mostly caused by the over-infatuation with celebrity episodes. People get tired of watching people, who are all ready rich, win money for charities. People want to see ordinary Americans win a lot of money, money that they would never see in ordinary life. I think an occasional celebrity episode is appropriate, but not EVERY episode should be with celebrities! That goes for Millionaire as well. The same problem occured with that game show as well, as is suffering the same fate.

I read somewhere that NBC has decided not to bring back this show next season due to its rapid decline in the ratings.
