This thread is sort of like a compilation of topics that I have written about at various points before. One topic that I have mentioned on several occasions is the fact that Julie was always my favorite character on this show. Ever since I was 12, I had a huge crush on her! On top of this, I have memorized the years in which various performers were born and written about other things that happened the same year. And, finally, I have mentioned that fact that I am a person who has been diagnosed as a person with special needs. I have been considered a person with special needs since first grade. I have been in many different programs for children and teenagers with special needs. I am presently in a program for adults with special needs. Back when I was 8 years old, I attended public school and went to a place called the resource room. One thing that the staff at this program tried with me was a series of books called "Leonard and his Time Machine". These books were written by a man named Gene Darby. Has anyone here ever heard of him or his books? In any event, the one and only of these books that I read from cover to cover was called "Leonard Visits the Ocean Floor". I have since looked up this title and found that it was published in 1965. This is the same year that Lauri Hendler who played our friend Julie was born!
