This is all very confusing and disconcerting - I believe giant Selena Gomez was supposed to bring yams, I hate yamz

Nothing personal, Selena. I'm just a little sensitive about my height.

There she was just a-walkin' down the street, singin' "Do wah diddy diddy dum diddy do"

Welcome to my life, I couldn't sleep on Monday night so I got low sleep, ended up getting like NO sleep last night but somehow with only an hour and a half nap, here I am feeling awake   Happy Thanksgiving!

This is probably gonna royally screw me up. Watch my body be used to sleeping for like 3-4 hours to a time now.

I shall apply my new one when TFio gets here.

So the whole point thing really hurt AJ/Brock for ya? That was probably the one match on Survivor Series I really loved and one of my favorite matches of the year period. Nobody can touch AJ.

I'm trying to break it myself, going to chat on here for a while then head straight to bed and hopefully I don't just lay there until the sun comes up. Looking forward to that big meal?

I don't think I'll ever quite get used to the Thanksgiving buzz going on Thursday and actualyl celebrating it Friday.

You guys still do Friday?

I'm looking forward to it though it's gonna be a bit different this year. Just my Mom, Kenzie and me cause my Aunt and Uncle and everyone have other plans this year. Hoping it actually still feels like Thanksgiving and not just a normal family day.

It was definitely a fun match but sadly, I knew where it was going because of that. Honestly, as much of a joke as Smackdown has been before recent times, it also didn't help with all of the B show talk to have them lose. Overall, it probably was my favorite match of the show but some of the other matches were good too.

I think it's going to be permanently Friday at this point for a long time to come. Most of my family has other plans as well so Friday is an open day for them to come. In a sense, I benefit getting a meal out for Thanksgiving day and then the actual one but still weird to adjust to. I did however have the usual viewing of the Thanksgiving Charlie Brown so that kind of kicked off the Thanksgiving feel, now we have this and then the parade tomorrow morning.

I feel somewhat similar given my family has been over a lot lately but on the other hand, we also have my aunt that rarely visits coming and admittedly it's a bit awkward given I don't really see them often kind of like when your family talks about hunting and stuff with different interests

I just didn't get that into the rest of the matches for whatever reason. Like, they were fine but they all felt longer than they needed to be and I really didn't get into the whole RAW vs Smackdown thing at all. The main event was also a mess.

Was Smackdown itself good this week? Kinda feels like the tide is turning to that being the good show again. RAW put me to sleep outside of the Paige crew thing.

It was actually cool to see Paige return and get a great reaction, you never fully know sometimes when things might go bad given everything that happened. I think I preferred that one over the Smackdown one cause it felt more better put together and a little less random.

I honestly only saw bits and pieces of Smackdown. It's such a weird show in senses because there is fun stuff on there and more stories going on now but at least to me, it's still not really must see. I think once they finish AJ and Jinder then it'll be more interesting. I probably would have skipped it but I figured with the RAW debuts, we'd have Smackdown ones so I'm glad I didn't.

Nice.

I'm used to my Aunt and Uncle coming every year and they have the past two years even without my Grandmother, but I feel like with my Grandmother gone, they'd rather spend Thanksgiving with their immediate family. Kinda sad cause even though the hunting and political talk could get awkward, that's what I've known as Thanksgiving for so long.

Change happens though. Doesn't always have to be bad. As long as we keep our deal here going.

I'd be in the same boat if we didn't do it on Friday so I can understand that. I'm a little sad this year that I can't watch the parade and post on here cause that's usually fun to chat about morning time for me.

I watched Flash/Legends but the stuff with Daniel Bryan, Owens and Sami seemed interesting at least.

I agree though, it was super cool to see Paige come back after the past year she's had. There were points it didn't feel like she ever WOULD come back. She seems happy and healthy again.

It was interesting but the whole end result was Kevin Owens begging to keep his job and Daniel saying he isn't firing them but putting Owens in a match with Orton so it felt anticlimatic.

One thing I will say is that as cool as the group thing is, if they're heels, it's kinda weird given how much the crowd was behind Paige so I hope they're kind of just outlaws more than anything. How are the CW shows holding up quality wise?

Pretty awesome. Legends is as consistent as it was last year and this season of Flash has kind of brought it back to form with the light heartedness, humor and fun. I stayed loyal to it last season but man, it could get depressing at times.

EVIL AQUAMAN is a Thanksgiving institution here.

I actually gotta admit, I didn't hate Aquaman in the Justice League movie but he was still probably my least favorite. Flash was my favorite. They FINALLY got Superman right too.

I looked through and considered a lot of them, Riverdale probably would have won out had I chosen one but I figured in the end that if I ever did truly get hooked on one, that was not a night to have to stop myself. Little did I know, I rpobably could have watched the entire season of a show

I had intended for us to watch it together this summer but given our lack of Netflix nights this year and it not being that long ago that I saw it, I'd be totally cool with you watching it on your own. Great show.

You never know, it could happen but I really am not much of a TV person these days. Usually the WWE Network is the go to but I had watched a lot of wrestling this weekend that I really didn't feel like it and have hope we'll watch some holiday wrestling shows that I didn't want to spoil that either.

I watched that new Marvel show on Hulu yesterday. Runaways. It's really good. They describe it as like The OC meets a comic book show and that's a pretty fitting description. Basically these teenagers find out they have powers and catch their parents in this weird cult like thing and sacrificing people.

I like the sound of the premise of that, it sounds like a unique set up. You check out that time travel show on there? I've seen commercials for that and figured that'd be up your alley, I forgot what's it called though.

It's ok. A little crude for my liking. I'm not a prude but I don't really care for shows or movies where they do jokes like that nonstop. It's just lazy and unoriginal.

Kind of a shame to hear that since the commercials had me intrigued too. Probably too big of an adjustment for my grandparents to get used to or else I'd probably jump to Hulu at this point. Though it is handy to keep Netflix for when we can. watch shows togetherthat aren't on Hulu.

That makes three of us.

I was thinking with my lack of sleep yesterday I'd sleep easily all through the night, right? Nope. Went to to bed at 6 PM, then woke up at 8 for some reason and remained up until about 11:30.
Biological clocks are a thing.

I actually woke up without my alarm even going off too, and this is coming from a guy who can wake up after 8 hours of sleep and go back to sleep for another 8 hours.

Combination of your health issues for awhile, TF working and in all honesty knowing the three of us, probably just lack of communication.

Usually I would agree on the last part but while I can't speak for TF, I honestly think we have had a crazy past few months with stuff going on that ti's been hard to even settle down to do one. We do gotta do one soon though, at least a Christmas special or two.

I really love it, but it's different for sure. More of a pure, angsty teen drama than the crazy psychological thriller that LiS became. It's kind of a happy time capsule from 2010 that shows how Chloe and Rachel met and fell in love while Max was in Seattle. Supposedly from the leaks I've been able to get a hold of, the last episode is going to finally explain a lot of the supernatural stuff that happened in the original game which could get very interesting for obvious reasons.

I'm debating whether I want to eat a turkey dinner today or eat somethingelse since I'm having that tomorrow, so that's not as weird to me and actually sounds l like a fun set up before the big meal.

As for the prequels, I like the idea of it but it's one of those things where I ponder the value of it being must play if that makes. I'm still very behind on Walking Dead's Telltale and got Batman to eventually get so I've been debating if it's must have. Especially since the first was actually free at one pointon Games with Gold so you never knowif that might happen again.

I would absolutely recommend it. I will say that knowing what happens in Chloe and Rachel's future does make it extremely emotional at times, sometimes unintentionally, but it's really cozy too. A lot of the story is based around Shakespeare's "The Tempest", which of course is a big theme in the story anyways since that's the play they're showing at Blackwell. The scenes in the second episode with the play were legitimately amazing to me.

I actually felt the same way for the same reason when I was younger. The coziness and quiet of the morning was over, I was still tired, but everything was louder and hectic, but there was nothing to really do.
Good point with the loudness and hecticness. Never thought of it that way but the peace kind of is part of why i enjoy night and morning so much.

Legit question, why does this anger people?

Like I get that the businesses are all greedy and trying to push Christmas early on people for the wrong reasons, but I have zero complaints about the Christmas feeling lasting longer.
I just prefer to appreciate the Holidays as they come personally.

Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas. If you jump ahead on Christmas it just kind of throws things out of whack, but then again I am quite OCD.

Instead, I have to go deal with insane people who would rather be standing in an electronics store shoving people around and waiting in line than be with their family, of which half will comment to me about how terrible it is that my company makes me work on Thanksgiving.
