NBC's Sunday Night Football used Taylor and the QB whose career he ended, Joe Theismann (http://awfulannouncing.com/nbc/nbc-promo-lawrence-taylor-joe-theismann-awkward.html), to promote NBC’s Thanksgiving Thursday Night Football game. But with sexual misconduct all over the news, Chris Thompson found it a poor choice, noting that Taylor was once “charged with third-degree rape, patronizing a prostitute, sexual abuse, and endangering a child, after he had sex with a 16-year-old who’d been delivered to him against her will by a pimp, who’d punched her in the face in order to secure her compliance.”
