L'Efant is probably one of my favorite segments of all time. I know there have been multiple threads discussing the case, but I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to Bashir?

The most recent thing I found online about him was that several years he apparently had a website where he shared extremist views. I also know that he owned a restaurant (or maybe several) around the D.C area.

Why did the FBI stop investigating? Where is Bashir now and did the phone calls stop? (I read somewhere that they stopped in the mid 90's but did Bashir ever confirm this?)

I couldn't find this episode on Amazon Prime which is super disappointing! It's one of my favorites.

I think his crazy, extremist views probably have something to do with it. RobinW did a great job going over this on TTWC podcast. After hearing it, my views on Bashir changed and it made me wonder about this whole story.
