Geraldine Laybourne, who launched Oxygen with Oprah Winfrey and Marcy Carsey in 2000 to target young women, reportedly said recently of Oxygen: "It should not be an all-crime network. This happens with EVERY channel. They all turn into something completely different than how they started.

Oxygen got better this year with the acquisition of Chicago P.D. Previously it was not worth watching.

I loved it when they used to air "Ellen" and "Grace Under Fire".
