At the beginning of the episode W&J were agonizing over trying to find someone to stay with the boys over the weekend while they're away.

I thought the same thing! How very strange. Wally is old enough to move out. Beaver stayed alone all night with Gilbert. Yet back in season 4 Wally stays with Beaver over night but Beaver does flood the tub. Maybe June didn’t want anymore falling plaster. Wonder if she considered getting Mrs. Bronson.

I watch Beaver on Wednesdays, just today Beaver was left alone with Gilbert and some other never seen before kid with a cute voice. This was the episode where Gilbert talks stupid Beaver (Beaver became more a moron as the series went on) into calling Don Drysdale. Funny show, but no Eddie:(
