At the time Jim Carrey's movie The Mask was very popular in the 90's an animated series was made to honor the release of the movie. The Mask Animated Series featured Jim Carrey's character going on fun adventures with the aid of the mask. The Mask Animated Series was also produced by Sunbow Productions. It seemed to be a trend to release cartoons that were based on movies that became all the rage in the 90's and The Mask cartoon is an awesome example of a good movie cartoon

Hi, Bestie! You are right. The mask was an awesome cartoon! Do you know who did the voice of the Jim Carey character? I used to watch that cartoon whenever I could.

Rob Paulsen voiced Stanley Ipkiss/The Mask.
The cartoon series was more a cross of the film and the original comic book series, even having a few episodes written by the Masks creator, John Arcudi. The original Mask comics were an intensely dark, adult oriented series for mature readers.
