In 1992 NBC launched it's final daytime game show that was set in Las Vegas's famous Caesar's Palace hotel called Caesar's Challenge. Hosted by Ahmad Rashad Caesar's Challenge featured contestants trying to win a car while trying to guess mystery words by filling in slots with the correct letters that might spell out the mystery words and if one of the players got a Lucky Slot and filled it with the correct letter they won cash. Returning contestants also had a chance to win a car by playing a special bonus round and if they managed to win the bonus round the contestant was the victor of the car. Caesar's Challenge was truly the most fun game show that was really awesome to see and after it's cancellation in 1993 some NBC stations aired reruns of Caesar's Challenge in 1995. The announcer for Caesar's Challenge was Steve Day who was one of GSN's first hosts of the GSN talk show Club AM. It's surprising that Ahmad Rashad hasn't hosted any other game shows besides Caesar's Challenge and it would sure be cool to see Ahmad host another game show someday because he deserves to have his game show career revived

Hi, Bestie! I did not know Ahmad was a game show host! I thought he only did sports shows. This sounded like a good show. Thanks again for the info, you are a warehouse of game show trivia! Keep up the good work!

Ahmad was great on "Real TV" and "Celebrity Mole" in the early 2000's.

Caesar's Challenge was the last network daytime gameshow to air (other than CBS's The Price is Right). It would be 15 LONG years before a network game show other than TPIR would air (Let's Make a Deal debuted in Fall 2009)

The Last NEW episode of Caesar's Challenge aired on January 14th, 1994.
