I know this is sacrilege to some people but IDOJ is better than Bewitched.
1) Elizabeth Montgomery was bored with Bewitched and tired of it and it shows in her performance. Barbara Eden loved playing Jeanie as the childlike tomboy and cried forever when she went off the air. Her energy and performance is greater.
2) There were so many health problems with Bewitched that they couldn't do great physical comedy like IDOJ and that's why they sit down so much. Tragic but a deal killer.
3) B is like a 50's version of the 60's until the very end when it is a campy 60's. IDOJ nails the 60's and the fuddy duddy side with the heads of Nasa.
4) I like how Daron's ego hates that he suspects Sam is using Witchcraft to make him good at advertising. But I think Tony wanting to do things on his own and Jeanie messing him up with the heads at Nasa is more funny and cooler.
5) The magic and situations from it are cooler and better on IDOJ than B. And that bottle is supercool including the throw pillows inside of it. Man, I love this show!
Some of my favorite J episodes- there are probably many more If I did a review- include Harold the Hippy, the art that burps, Tony being made a genius including singer in front of Bellows, The Paul Lynde episode where Tony keeps getting saved by Jeanie on a survival program. And Bellows of course can't believe it...
