No good credit crunched shows on that list.

All these shows are good... since my dad's house has better antenna reception... looks like I now have a good reason to move home temporarily until I get a house... I can watch TV shows of yesteryear!

I've never seen Head of the Class, Hogan Family, Gimme a Break, Benson, or Silver Spoons. So those I'm looking forward to seeing finally.

I highly recommend Gimme a break and Benson! :) I think you REALLY will enjoy these two!! ;)

I wonder why Benson wasn't in the poll?

Exactly. None for me either. The credit crunch completely ruins them for me.

Murphy Brown, with Alice close behind. Also the credit crunch does not bother me one bit.

Pretty sure he's only including new-to-Antenna shows. Benson doesn't count because they've aired it before.

Head of the Class I have been wanting to see for awhile. I also already like Murphy Brown, Coach, and Growing Pains. Benson is the best, not totally new but has been a few years gone and now will be weeknights. I have not seen Silver Spoons and Valerie/The Hogan Family, will check them out (only voted for the first 4 shows I listed).

Yes, exactly. This poll is just for the "new" shows joining the lineup.

I don't like those credit crunches, but that won't stop me from watching my shows, yet alone an entire channel. As long as they don't talk over the opening credits. I usually blast the Alice theme song whenever it's on.

I'm looking forward to the return of Alice. It's been rarely seen over the last few years though it currently airs on Logo.

Logo hacks Alice (among others) to pieces. They remove pivotal scenes just so they can stuff in more commercials. Antenna will air longer episodes than Logo.

Have you read up on it?? Do you know the premise of Alice?:)

Another reason besides it being a very funny and warm hearted show * Spoiler alert* Alice takes place in Phoenix, your neck of the woods!!;)

The only one I plan to watch is Alice because it began before 1980. I generally don't watch shows that began in 1980 and forward.

Seems to me that Antenna TV is going for a younger demographic and transitioning to a 1980's and 1990's station. Wouldn't surprise me if the older shows from the 1970's and earlier gradually get dropped from their schedule.

This is why I recorded all the episodes of seasons 1, 3 and 4 of The Joey Bishop Show and made DVD's of them. Antenna TV won't air this show forever, eventually they will drop it but when they do it won't affect me because I have my homemade DVD's to watch anytime I like. :) Saved myself a little work not having to record season 2 because I have the retail DVD set.

I think Antenna will always air their 50s, 60s, & 70s sitcoms along with 80s & 90s. They've been, so I don't see why they wouldn't always do that.

You might be correct, but as time goes along I believe Antenna TV might focus more on sitcoms from the 80's and 90's and less focus on the older ones. As long as Antenna airs some of the older shows I like I'll continue to watch.

Aside from Alice, starting in January I see that Antenna will have a nice block of the older sitcoms on Saturday evenings. Good to see The Jack Benny Show is returning, I plan to tune in for that too. :)

Yeah :) I like that, too, but I like that they're trying something new while having the older ones too. I imagine the ones being rested, aside from Green Acres, will be back at some point.

I'm sad that Green Acres is leaving! :( 11-12 PT was perfect for me! I think METV is picking it up soon? But I'm sure it will be on very early knowing METV. All the good stuff is on so early on that channel!

MeTV said a long time ago it would acquire Green Acres in 2018, but there's no word when exactly. They should release their new schedule before long though. I'm really hoping they revamp everything and give the new shows prominent spots, but I fear this is unlikely. :(

Finally more shows from the 80's, never saw Head Of The Class or The Hogan Family in their first run so am curious to see if the shows are even remotely good.

Never cared for Murphy Brown or Coach so I'lll skip those.

a couple years ago I would have been excited but the only things I watch on Antenna TV anymore are ALL IN THE FAMILY and JOHNNY CARSON every once in a while because they crunch the credits.
