Her hair never changes. Also it was straight and long the 1t season. I also think Iola/ Beverly wore a wig as well.

Yes! I think the three of them wore wigs! ;) :) Esp. Mama and Naomi , Iola's looked a bit more natural, but I still think probably a wig! ;) :wave:

Yes Iola wore a wig too, you can see what Beverly Archer's hair looked like in a couple episodes of Married with Children that was on around that time. Also she was in Freddy's Nightmare episode Dreams that Kill, ~the spin off TV series of Nightmare on Elm Street~

Yes the ladies all wore wigs by Roselle Friedland, who worked on The Carol Burnett Show (well, Betty White didn't wear one, and I'm not sure about Rue McClanahan)

But how can you say Dorothy/Naomi's hair "never changes"? It changed a lot until the last two or three seasons of the series.

I always thought Betty White DID wear a wig as Ellen, I wouldn't think Betty's hair would be long enough to do that French twist thing in the back... I KNOW she wore a wig as Ellen in the Family Sketches of the Carol Burnett Show, b/c she had a BIG bouffant hair style.

^---Ah, that's right. Sorry, it's been a long time since I watched my beloved Harpers. She definitely did in the Burnett show, but it looks more like her real hair in MF.

I always thought it was funny how on the Carol Burnett show there were wigs for EVERYTHING, Carol would sometimes wear wigs that were practically identical to her real hair, BUT you could still they were wigs in certain ways... Sometimes I wondered what was the point, unless they just wanted to give her a slightly subtle different look.
