I don't have one; it works perfectly. I was just wondering who else has one.

yes it is! And it's so simple to record-you just press a button on the remote and it sets the time and channel automatically! Far cry from a VCR. (ain't modern technology great?)

I have cable TIVO/DVR. You can watch Netflix and YouTube and record up to
6 shows at a time. Modern technology IS great! If you know how to make
it work. :) :)

We have a Hopper 3 (Dish Network), we can record up to 16 programs at once, though I can't think of a time that will actually come into use. I also like how Dish integrated Netflix: One example if you're doing a search on a movie through the Hopper, it will also show if it is available on Netflix.

The recording storage is seemingly endless. Also like that you can access all recordings from wherever there is a Joey hooked to a TV ( the Joeys communicate with the Hopper), so if you start a movie/show in one room, you can continue it in another.

Also has Primetime Anytime which automatically records programming from the 4 main networks and doesn't use up recording space, a good way to see new shows, very few we watch though. And the shows have the option to automatically skip commercials (wish it did that for all recordings)

I do. I never wait for a commercial to go pee, I just pause.
