That would be nice to see. He came into the show i am guessing, because Duchovney was off, and he settled in quite nicely. A good character which helped the show in its last seasons.

Watching the last season of X files a few months ago and Dogget was fitting in from what I could see. He had Scully's back, did all he could to find out what happened to Mulder. He had his own sad back story involving the death of his son.
But this new version of the show sometimes hits and sometimes misses. I find Scully is as I remember her--given that 20 has passed--Dana is not really there it seems. Her demeanor has changed a lot and she is more like the character she played in The Fallen.
