In 1996 a Swedish singer named Marie-Claire Cremers took the nickname Amber and released her debut album called This Is Your Night on Tommy Boy Records and the title track became a huge hit in America and Europe and a dance remix of Amber's ballad One More Night was also released as a single. Amber then released her self-titled second album which a cover of Gordon Lightfoot's classic song If You Could Read My Mind became a hit on the charts. It's a surprise Amber has never released another album since her song Taste The Tears came out from a third album
