I haven't been watching the b/w's so far, only recording, but I did watch the Halloween episode yesterday, “Ghost Next Door” 3.6. 2 comments, 1 why didn't ME TV show this episode today?
2, I haven't seen any other ME b/w's till now, BUT I did see for the first time something I haven't seen before!!! There's a scene where Chip & Sudsy are out trick or treating and they see a figure/shadow in front of a lit window, looks like a man creeping about. Now I don't ever remember seeing this bit of a scene before with the man in the shadow. I have 2 other versions of this show, one from TV Land another from a Canadian source and neither of these had this scene, at least that I can remember.

Maybe ME TV is showing newly edited versions of the b/w episodes. I did notice they edited out part of a scene dialogue with Sudsy's mother. So I guess you get some and you lose some with these Me TV edits.:talk:

You're missing out.
The best years of MTS were the first 3 seasons.
The show started to falter in the fourth & fifth seasons.

The trip to Ireland (Dubli's Fair City), a 2-part episode, was especially uninteresting.
It marked where the show was turning into a typical sitcom.

I did like Mariette Hartley in the Ireland episodes. Also I found it funny that Steve and Fergus failed to see the resemblance others saw in them (both played by MacMurray). I will say that while there was more material than would've fit in one episode, the Douglases' exploits maybe ran a little thin for a two-ep story.

I'm not missing out on anything. I only watch my DVDs of My 3 Sons in chronological order once a week on Monday, currently in my world I'm up to the 1st quarter of the 11th season. But, as I always do, I watch holiday episodes instead of the "scheduled" next episode whenever the appropriate holiday arrives. The whole time ME-TV was showing their b/w's I was already in the midst of watching my DVDs of the color years, I had ALREADY watched ALL of the b/w episodes about 3 years ago before I started watching the color years. In my world I only watch my DVDs, I never watch TV live, only after recorded do I watch, and then only when I get to it when watching in my own time period and then I watch the series as originally broadcast chronologically on DVDs only. So I've already seen all of the b/w's several times over ever since I recorded them off Family channel/Nick@Nite/TV Land.

This is why people shouldn't rely on a TV station to keep showing your favorite TV show forever and ever, unless it's MUSH (a show I can't stand) your favorite TV show WILL be taken off and taken off for years or even decades. :( Unless you want to go without ever watching your favorite shows you need to record them when the opportunity arrives. Currently that opportunity is provided to you by ME TV, what happens a year or 2 from now when ME decides to take 3 Sons off again, as they have done before. Unless you have them for yourself you will just spend your time wishing and remembering.:(

That means you can either suffer for years and years:mad: awaiting the good graces of some TV station to show your favorite program again, OR you can record it when it is on and never have to go without seeing your show whenever you want.:D I have chosen the latter for decades now.;)

I hate MUSH and the gender ambiguous Alan Alda.
