In the beginning of this episode (the opening scene), June had a different hairdo.
After the first commercial, she was back to the Jackie Kennedy style.
Something I never noticed before.

I saw that the last time that episode was on. I was looking at the back of her hair and I believe it was pinned up. Maybe Barbara decided she liked it down. Good Ob.
Just noticed in Tell It To Ella June has her hair either pinned up or styled so it looks short. Just like in Late Edition.

When the girl comes in and starts crying: nomination for a little bit of overacting there. And it helps to have some real or fake tears.
Mathers once relayed a story about how Beaumont showed him how to cry on cue. He should have related that to the girl. Of course, he was a star and couldn't be bothered with the problems of lowly bit players.

Yeah her acting was lame. I liked when Beaver said to Richard someone was coming over and they’re gonna get to use her brother's surf board. So when the paper girl arrives she has a whole spiel about coming over and seeing her brothers surfboard they already decided this. Just like Eddie, Richard got to have the finally scene wondering what happened to Beaver. “I used to know him when he was alive.” They both get to scratch their heads.

Final scene, and I think the final episode for Richard Correll. Maybe the Rickovers moved to Bellport or Riverside.
Eddie's scratching-head line was a lot better than Richard's.

A great line for Beaver in Chrystie Jordan's later appearance (when Beaver was hiding behind the tree, he could have emerged and said): "Haven't I seen you someplace before?"

Right. Hey remember when you and I had a fight on the grass. I’d love to get down on the grass now. Do you like me?
Mrs. Rayburn says we’re supposed to like our classmates it’s good citizenship so I don’t think so. (Beaver gives her a gold locket) Oh Beaver it’s beautiful. (Kisses him)
Can we get down on the grass?
Who does she think she is a Gabor sister?

That Gabor sister line was pretty good, but dated of course.
"Oh Beaver, it's beautiful. Let's rub surfboards at Crystal Lake."
"Oh Beaver, it's beautiful. Let me show you what I can deliver besides newspapers."

LOL!
If Donna Yeager discovered Wally she’d drop Beaver flat and if Wally threw her over she’d have a trauma. I’m surprised she didn’t like Richard he’s older.

Yep she was a real drama queen. Or, in Beaver-speak, "She was a real do-do." Or, "What a kook."
I liked that Gilbert line (approximation): I think when you like a girl, you're supposed to do more than stare at her from behind a tree.
