According to ComingSoon.net the complete first season of Sanford and Son will be released on DVD on August 6, 2002.

What are your thoughts on the DVD?

Quality, packaging, any extras?

I think I'm going to buy it.

I got it for $19.99 at Best Buy. Is is good quality, the episodes are 26 minutes in length, and it is just really good to see Sanford & Son again. There are no special features though... I highly recommend it though. It's a great deal. Hopefully they'll do a Season Two set. :)

My mom said a cop at work brought it in and started watching it on his laptop. She got to watch some of it for a few minutes and she said she laughed her butt off. Just one question, are the episodes in their full and none of that edited crap the syndicates use? I'm really thinking about getting this :)

They're the un-cut episodes, not the syndicated ones.

Yes, they are un-cut (26 minutes in length). No ads over the ending, no split-screen. It's just great! Get it! :)

YAAAAAYYY!!! :) That's really great! Unfortunately I went to go get it today and it was completely sold out, so I got "All In The Family" instead and will have to get "Sanford & Son" when they get more in :)

:D I Got My Season 1 Set A Week Ago I Forgot How Funny It Was I Hope Season 2 Comes Out Soon. If You Have Not Bought It Yet What Are You Waiting For You BIG DUMMY.:confused:

I bought mine a week ago. This DVD is very good quality and its un-cut, I think Its an excellent deal for under 30.00$ Red Foxx is hilarious, I highly recommend you get you copy today.

I went to Best Buy to buy it today and they were sold out.

I was shocked, but I am glad that it is selling so well.

When I went to get my copy, I got the last one, so it is selling really well, which is GREAT! Hopefully Season Two will be on it's way. :)
