I watched it, but I didn't really "get it"; it's like it's its own "thing", and not making a whole lot of sense - well that's just "part of it".

Looked stupid to me so I didn't even bother with it.

Not funny or clever in any way.

Just some kind of bad joke that we are all supposed to find amusing for some reason.

They should have tried for the kid crowd at an earlier hour, even if it originated from an SNL sketch.

It looks really bad. I stopped watching SNL in the mid 80s and I never looked back.

They should have tried to add some actual jokes and a plot as well. :wave:

it seems to me that it wasn't terrible enough - I mean it was supposed to be bad; that was part of the joke. A very thin, over-stretched premise for a joke, that would've worked better in a sketch half as long as the one actually aired on SNL, but that was the whole point.

I think with all this "SERIOUS DRAMATIC ACTOR" nonsense Tom Hanks forgot how to be funny; he hasn't done anything good since "Joe Vs The Volcano" - he needs to stop pretending to be some sort of Oscar-winning actor and go back to sniffing glue and putting vegetables in his pants.
