I've heard nothing but bad things about him. He's hated in the physics world. He's not a physicist, he's an attention whore and self-promoter. He's being sued over fraud he committed in a deal for a radio show and for stealing copyrighted photos.

It's not that the show isn't real. He had a business partner while the show was being pitched to networks. Then he convinced the partner that the show was not going to be picked up and bought him out at a low price. Then, as soon as he owned the partner's share he signed a deal which he had known about all along cheating his partner out of the profits.

The travails of Kathy Griffin and her status as a professional victim never fail to amuse me. :D

Yes! I've always hated him. Has nothing to do with politics but I never watched the Apprentice because I knew what an evil sociopath he was then. I just thought he was an annoying twit like most reality stars but never thought he would *gag* be president.

Me too! I remember when he did that. ohno: He just couldn't leave well enough alone.

In recent years he's also become very political and that's never a good thing for a scientist to do. Then again, he has become more of a celebrity/scientist hybrid.

I cannot think of that many of today's celebrities that I actually like, most I find utterly insufferable and very unlikable.
