In order:

1. Halloween - The fact that it's scary, trick or treaters, and the costumes

2. Thanksgiving - The delicious food, spending time with family, parades, and being thankful

3. Christmas - Spending time with loved ones, Jesus Christ being born, and opening gifts

Halloween, the whole month of October is my favorite time of year.

4th Of July is one of my least favorites. Yes, it's celebration of Independence, but mostly people use it as an excuse to light off fireworks, and most pets are terrified. Our dogs especially, we try to keep them down in the basement under blankets until it's all over.

Same as Torgo, I'm not much into 4th of July in the last few years! Besides the pets getting scared, theres just too much noise and confusion! :p I'm also not into New Years eve anymore! Yes I'm an old fuddy duddy!

The same with me, even though both of my parents died in November.:( :(

The Thanksgiving-to-New Year's Day season is the best. So homey, so nice. Pumpkin spice coffee, egg nog, and other treats you can't get during the rest of the year. And I get ten paid days off at Christmas, and two paid days off at Thanksgiving.

My top 3:

Halloween. Spooky and scary. Get to run props and see other props and yard haunts. People seem to be more friendly (those who run yard displays and/or hand out candy).

Christmas. Nice to see many houses with colorful Christmas lights. And just the whole holiday feeling.

Independence Day. Impressive fireworks and I like to watch all the traffic after the fireworks show.

I'm quoting myself...

The reason I like 4th of July so much is because of the feeling of freedom and I spent the holiday at Dollywood last year and if I can that's where I'll be from now on on the holiday. Dollywood does a fantastic celebration!

I agree! October through January 1st is practically one long holiday! I decorate for Autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I enjoy it! I also decorate for Easter and 4th of July. I love holidays and the change of seasons! :)

My favorite holiday was always Christmas. But ever since my mom died, no holiday means anything to me...

I know this Christmas will be my 2nd Worst Christmas I ever had... last year's was worse...
