"Young Sheldon" is keeping it in the CBS family. "Mike & Molly" star Billy Gardell has booked a guest-starring role on "The Big Bang Theory" prequel, EW has learned exclusively.

Gardell will play Herschel Sparks, the chicken-raising neighbor of the Coopers and father of Sheldon’s tormentor, Billy Sparks.
