What would you say when you walk up to that person? What questions would you ask them?

Would you ask for an autograph or just ask them for a picture?

I would love to meet either the Brady Bunch kids or the cast of Night Court.

I have seen/met many celebs. (one of the perks of living in NYC). If it is in public, at a restaurant or on the street, I leave them alone. I have nodded to them as they pass me by on the street, but that's about it. I'm not the screaming star-struck type of person.

I have also met many celebs at the various conventions, fan events, book signings and over at Broadway. Some of them are very personable and would talk w/ the fans, whereas others are sign your item, snap a quick pic, and you're off.

Speaking of the Brady's, I have met Mike Lookinland, Chris Knight, Barry Williams, Susan Olsen and Florence Henderson.

If I could meet any celebrity I would love to meet Chris Harrison and if I got to talk to him I would say "Hello Chris it's me Bestia but feel free to call me Bestie and I just love watching you on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire every weekday morning" And I would ask Chris Harrison for his autograph and then we would say good bye and shake hands

Did you compliment Mike on his leaf spreading skills for Halloween 4?

Dolly Parton...the only celeb I really would like to meet.

I'd just want to thank her for speaking her truth.

I'd also ask for an autograph.

I met country singer Pam Tillis in 2011 and got an autographed photo of her. She was super nice and did a great concert.

lol, I didn't think to mention Halloween when I met him. He was glad to see I picked a headshot from the short-lived "The Bradys" for him to sign and he started talking to me about that.

If I could meet the following..

John: I would walk up to him, shake his hand, and explain that I'm a fan of his work. Then, I would talk to him about life before acting and what made him want to start becoming an actor. I would also talk about music and how I share a love of books a lot. Finally, I would give him a hug and say I always wanted to meet you. I'd end with a picture being taken with him.

Harry: I would approach him and give him a handshake. I would tell him that I like his work on Cheers and Night Court along with asking what got him into magic. Then, he would tell me how he started off doing tricks on the street. He would then proceed how he got into acting with earliest roles being SNL and Cheers. He would end with a whole bunch of magic tricks and would either get a photo op if he wanted to and if not, an autograph.

That's cool. I'm one of the few people that watched The Bradys during its original run.

I once met David Cassidy, this was in Chicago back in 1981 when David was in the musical stage show titled "Little Johnny Jones". It was a pretty good show, the highlight was when David sang the song "Life's A Funny Proposition", he got a big cheer from the audience after he sang that song. After the show was over, as David was leaving the theater is when I met him, a group of his fans were there too but I got to shake his hand and tell him good show. Some people asked him for autographs, but if I recall he said he didn't have time because he was running late for a radio interview.

Pam is such a sweetheart. I love that she still does free meet and greets at the end of all her shows. I'll be seeing a show with her, Suzy Bogguss and Terri Clark in a couple weeks. It's at a slightly bigger venue so I'm sure there will be no free meet and greets, but I'm excited nonetheless.

Someday I wouldn’t mind meeting Catherine O’Hara and ask her why she left SCTV before it was over. She was the best thing about the show.

I like Terri and Suzy, too! I love the 90s country ladies.

I've met and worked with a lot of celebrities and the vast majority have been fine. Ron Howard, Bob Hope, Tony Randall, Paul Simon, just to name a few. I'm sure I've mentioned on other threads that Bil Cosby used to come into my old studio often and we all liked him but had no clue what was going on behind closed doors. We used to manage some of the original SNL people and I have friends that still do. Obviously Belushi was a problem on occasion because of the drugs but he was still a good guy.

I generally don't go out of my way to meet celebrities and am rarely starstruck. The two standout exceptions to that of course were Paul McCartney and last week Valerie Bertinelli. Paul is so used to being with fans who are starstruck that he's an expert at putting you at ease and Valerie was just great.

Tom Selleck! Anyone met him?! I am STARSTRUCK, when it comes to him!
I probably would just stand there frozen, and then when I got home remember all the things I should have said!

Me too. I’ve seen and met Pam twice and Suzy once. I saw Terri open for Reba but never met her. If only Patty Loveless would tour again. I just don’t think it’s going to happen.

I have met many celebrities (I worked for Disney for a while), but my favorite encounter was with Wayne Brady. Not only is he a funny guy, he is modest and sincere. He's awesome.

I've never met Wayne Brady but I think he's just about the most annoying person on television. He has ruined Let's Make A Deal just as Drew Carey has ruined The Price Is Right.

There are so many famous people I want to meet and talk to. But in reality if I ever got the chance, I'd probably get overwhelmed and ramble incoherently until we awkwardly depart.

Absolutely! I've been very lucky that way. When I was a kid, I met Danny Thomas and met Ann Meara when I was a young man. Both super nice as well.

Hmm...

Most of the celebrities I like are gone...but I won't doubt I'll see many in Heaven. From Martin Luther to Robin Williams.

I may even meet a Marx Brother or two... they may be with my mom and her father sharing jokes with Phil Hartman, John Candy, and Sam Kinison to name a few...
