There is a documentary series starting tonight on A&E titled "The Eleven" about the murders of eleven girls and Edward Harold Bell's connection and him possibly being a serial killer.

Here is a link where they show a lengthy preview of the documentary series.

My cable box died yesterday, hopefully they'll replay this a few times!

It reminds me of the "I, Witness" series which was on ID earlier this year, which I also enjoyed, but which clearly had a smaller budget.

I think it's been quite good so far. The use of archive film, contemporary police photographs/documents/etc and film-look effects in reconstructions is really compelling, IMO. I know the budget for this series is probably higher than what a new UM would have, but I'm sure CMP has been following its development if there's any chance for a new series.
