Yesterday while trying to watch Let's Make A Deal on CBS I have discovered this problem that I would like to know more about? From time to time I have experienced freezing problems and when it starts freezing the TV turns the picture into different colored squares of violet green and pink and not only that when it also freezes the voices on sitcoms or any other show get cut off and so far my CBS station and my NBC station are the only channels I have experienced this problem. Mom checked the dish and everything seems to be in working order and I just got a new cable box the other day. Is this something Direct TV does to test their channels from time to time to be sure they're working properly on local channels because I've only noticed this problem on two local channels?

Mom and I have a new problem with our living room reciever and I would like to know if you ever experienced this problem before with your Direct TV recievers? Mom and I were trying to watch Major Crimes and the sound was fine but suddenly in the middle of Major Crimes the show suddenly became silent and the show plays but no noise comes out and then we turned it to Frasier on Hallmark Channel and the same thing happened and so I wondered if the reciever has anything to do with it? I had never noticed this problem until today but we managed to get it fixed and it now works
