It was a difficult decision (God knows it was), but Dirk is even more of an annoyance than Mac's Vietnamese wife Quon Le...as clueless and gullible as Quon Le is--and she is clueless and gullible--there's still something charming about her. Dirk, on the other hand, is always hanging around the courthouse, hopelessly waiting for his moment to replace one of the balliffs on a permanent basis. Poor guy.

I couldn't agree with you more, MikeL! Quon Le was always pissing Mac off by purchasing unlikely (and unnecessary) items on impulse, such as Ginsu knives, a Civil War-themed chess set, and even a sailboat. Quon Le was so clueless, dense, and gullible, she made Bull look like a Rhodes Scholar!

Dirk, on the other hand, was always trying to impress Harry and the rest of the gang...he was always waiting around for one of the bailiffs--Bull, Selma, Flo, and Roz--to throw in the proverbial towel so he could be permanently assigned upstairs to Harry's courtroom.

I couldn't stand Qon Le. She was very unlikable.

i didnt like how mac and Harry was trying to do work in Harry's office trying to save Joyces job or something like that.

Quan lee comes in there all mad cause he is making mac work and disturbing their vacation and she starts dancing around, and laying on the couch like she own's the place

I wasn't a huge fan of the Quon Le character, but she made the show funnier. The writers got some laughs out of Dirk, but the show wouldn't have been worse without him.

As for Quon Le? If it wasn't her, some other character would have been introduced to make Mac less sane.
