Does anyone remember Suzanne's last name being spelled "Sommers" as opposed to "Somers"? The latter just looks so wrong!


Yes! I used to think this, too. This phenomenon is called the Mandela effect, where a lot of people have the same false memory. And I came across a video about Sommers/Somers! This guy seems a little kooky, but he shows a few examples where her name was spelled with two Ms (skip to 2:30 to see the part on Suzanne). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovnG-c8vsrU

However, it was clearly just people spelling her name wrong, and it was an easy typo to make. Her last name does rhyme with "summers" so our brain wants to "fix" the single M.

They even had both spellings on their actual show taping tickets as well... Weird

Yes I know it's a Mandela Effect, I'm just curious how many ppl remember it that way. I also posted a topic about Desi Anaz being Desi Arnez on the ILL forum.

The leading theory is that we shift realities, so even if you look back in the past her name has ALWAYS been Somers in this reality. SOMERS JUST LOOKS SO WRONG!! LMAO!! It seems like it was Sommers just yesterday and I grew up watching this show.


Just like many ppl remember the Statue of Liberty as being on Ellis Island and not Liberty Island.

Mandela Effect is one thing that is blowing my mind.
