"Chicago Med" Admits Malcolm McDowell for Season 3

Malcolm McDowell is set to appear in the upcoming third season of NBC medical drama "Chicago Med", The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The Golden Globe-nominated actor will play Dr. Jaffrey, a distinguished, erudite, world-renowned heart surgeon. Dr. Jaffrey also happens to be the mentor of Dr. Bekkar (Norma Kuhling), Dr. Rhodes' (Colin Donnell) new workplace rival. Dr. Bekkar was introduced at the end of season two as a new, highly competitive Cardiothoracic Fellow.

McDowell is set to pop up in the ninth episode of the season.
