I recently purchased the entire series on dvd. I have been skipping around. This weekend I watched some season 6 episodes, and they were pretty bad. The only good episode from season 6 is the first one, "Homecoming" where Wayne's friend Wart returns from Vietnam. That one was great. That was really the last one that really felt like a Wonder Years episode. The others have been bad. Kevin became a jerk when he got older plus the stories are uninteresting by season 6. They were running out of ideas.

The final episode was so-so.

I prefer the last season over season 5 the show got bad as kevin got to be the awkward 15 to 17 year old most boys act strange at those ages in real life
