Before hosting Let's Make A Deal Wayne Brady hosted Don't Forget The Lyrics a game show that tested contestants knowledge of song lyrics and music for a million dollar prize. At the time of the debut of Don't Forget The Lyrics it had competition with NBC's game show The Singing Bee and was better than The Singing Bee. During it's run Don't Forget The Lyrics was known for having an episode where a contestant from FOX's other game show Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader had a brother who was a contestant on Don't Forget The Lyrics. Although cancelled by FOX Don't Forget The Lyrics was later given new life into syndication in a short-lived version hosted by Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath which also was added to UP Channel's lineup for a while
