Back on the old Internet Movie Database boards I would occasionally start a "favorite episode" thread, so I thought I'd start one here. My favorite has changed over time, but right now I'd have to say "Wally and Dudley." I just love the message of the episode and how Dudley reveals his secret talent at the party.

In case anyone doesn't know, Jerry Mathers is on record saying "Wally the Lifeguard" is his favorite, and Tony Dow opts for "Happy Weekend." It would be interesting to find out what Ken Osmond's favorite is.

I think "Nobody Loves Me" is really a good episode. Since it was the first to come to mind, I'll go with that.

I'm partial to Beaver and Andy and Box Office Attraction. They both showed another side of Mayfield life.

Captn Jack, the one where Gilbert spends the night and they think Lumpy is a gangster, and the haircut episode.

Also I like any Eddie episode in later seasons like Bachelor at Large, Eddie Quits School, Eddie's Double Cross and Summer in Alaska.

I like Beaver in the Zesto Soup Billboard episode and the episode where Beaver, Wally, Eddie, Lumpy and Bill ride on the rollercoaster at the amusement park.

"Gus and the net!!!"

The episode where Beaver is trapped in the soup bowl on the billboard, "In the Soup", is the one that sticks out in my mind. I watched it as a kid, and I, too, wondered if there would be real soup in the bowl (kids!).

In The Soup, it's the first episode of the show I watched, and it was what got me hooked on the show.

It's one of those episodes that everyone knows. Like the Father Knows Best episode with the short-wave radio and the pleasure boat lost in a storm.

I'd say "Wally's suit", "Wally's haircomb", "In the soup" , "Beaver & Poncho", "Larry Hides out", "Cat out of the bag" , "Beaver's cat problem", "Wally the business man" , "Wally the lifeguard", "The big fish count" and "Beaver & Violet"!
