Fans of Rose Marie (AKA Rose Marie Mazzetta Guy) may like to know that the docu chronicling her life and showbiz career of 90 years [!] premiered last night (October 5,2017)at the Mill Valley Film Festival to a packed house! I'm not sure how long before (or if) it will go into general release around the nation (or go on that website that rhymes with Doo Rube) but it's good that this appears to have been well received. For what it's worth, it was produced with the full co-operation and participation of its subject who shared her own voluminous archive of rare and sometimes unique footage for the production as well as being interviewed. Well, even though she isn't as healthy as she was in her youth or middle age, it's good that her mind has remained very sharp and that she's lived to see this be completed.

I had the pleasure of seeing it in August. The home movies are worth the price of admission.
