"'Cavemen' was my first real acting job. It took about 4 hours of make-up every morning. I had to do 'The View' and John Mulaney came to my hotel room and wrote jokes for me in character for my appearance.

I went on 'The View' and Whoopi Goldberg is looking at me and said, 'I know you,' and I knew we were in trouble. Then the show came out and it was one of the most universally reviled shows ever on television."

Seems like they're blaming the failure of Cavemen on bad make-up. The truth of the matter is that what worked okay as a 15-second commercial just didn't work has a half-hour series. The failure had nothing to do with make-up.

Wow it's been almost 11 years since this was on the air. I liked the cavemen commercials, and I wanted to like the series but it was absolutely awful. You just can't base a TV series off of characters in a TV commercial it's a bad idea.

I'm NOT a fan of Geico...
I'm NOT a fan of the Cavemen...

But what I hear is that once the cavemen actors knew what they were getting in...Oh God!

Let's hope this series never gets on DVD!
