I know I might be told to put this in the forum for The Partridge Family, but
I am just asking if anyone knows why YouTube blocks "The Partridge Family" episodes on "copyright grounds." On YouTube there are entire episodes of "All In The Family" and even "One Day At A Time," and "Laverne and Shirley," and "The Brady Bunch" and "I Love Lucy" and "Maude" and amazingly certain TV shows that are long forgotten such as "My Mother The Car" and I don't think I ever saw any one of those blocked on copyright grounds, but with "The Partridge Family" there are times when I actually get access to certain entire episodes and after a while they are blocked because of the copyright issue, or reportedly.
Of course , I have not tried looking at every TV show on YouTube but so far I only notice that this happens with episodes of "The Partridge Family."

I was always under the impression that NO copyrighted TV show or film can be shown in full on Youtube. If you're able to find shows it's probably because the copyright lawyers haven't yet gotten around to complaining about it. I'm sure they will someday, and Youtube will have no choice to take it down. It's too bad when some shows get taken down and others don't, but they'll probably all meet the same fate some day.

This is why some uploaders put the videos in surrealistic filters to stretch and distort the image and/or sound to fool Youtube's automatic copyright detection system. This is usually done after the original videos are taken down for copyright claims.
