Usually after a show has a bad season the ones after aren't much better. Are there any shows that you'd say undeniably got better after getting worse?

the office had a really bad 8th season but came back with a pretty strong 9th and final deason

Frasier's 8th and 9th seasons were underwhelming if compared to the others, season 10 was good overall but had just one 5-star rating episode... but then season 11 was the perfect conclusion!

Grey's Anatomy had a notoriously awful seasons four and five, but really returned to top form shortly after that and has been going strong ever since.

Designing Women's sixth season was clearly a big misstep creatively but they found their footing again in their seventh and final season. Judith Ivey was a great addition to the show.

Cheers after Season 1, nobody taught the show was done until it gained ratings success

i thought that Marvels Agents of sheild was kind of slow!! but then gotten better with each seaon!! another one is flash point!! it was kind of liked cop swat show!! i couldn't get into the first seaon but i rewatched it i enjoyed later seaons!!

Everybody Loves Raymond is the only show I can think of with a dip that didn't last. Season 7 had a stank on it but seasons 8 and 9 were two of the better seasons.

Angel season four was horrible, but season five redeemed itself, and the show went out in style.
