At first glance it might look like a Nightmare on Elm Street reunion since 3 of the 4 Lubbock Babes starred in one. But Just the Ten of Us was a spin-off of the highly popular Growing Pains (1985-1992) and an ABC TGIF pioneer. A regular timeslot winner, fans were bewildered when it was abruptly cancelled in 1990. Unfortunately, it was not produced by Lorimar Television, like the other three TGIF shows and was taken off the air to make room for its fourth - Heather Locklear's ****com Going Places. Despite it's catchy theme song, it only lasted a season and the premature cancellation of Just The Ten of Us joined the long list of bad executive decisions.
