I was watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and on this morning's episode Chris Harrison mentioned that the NFL moved the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas and renamed the team the Las Vegas Raiders and so I would like to know if it's true? My uncle has been a Oakland Raiders fan for years and he would be surprised at this news. Also when the Oakland Raiders became the Las Vegas Raiders did they change the team colors and the team mascot on their helmets as well?
Has anyone heard anything about this change?

I was wondering that too at the beginning of football season last weekend! ;) Being that after last season there was serious talk that the Oakland Raiders were moving to Las Vegas!:eek: I like football but I'm not a big expert on it ,but I've asked people who really know their football , and pretty much it is still in the works but hasn't happened yet!;) They are still the Oakland Raiders as of now!:wave:

Oh so the Oakland Raiders decision to move to Las Vegas has not been confirmed yet? Because I wonder when the Oakland Raiders decide to move to Las Vegas there will be a new football stadium in Las Vegas will be built just for the Oakland Raiders as well when they become the Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders want to move in 2019 (at the earliest) or 2020 (at the latest), but none of this is set in stone yet.

Side note--- Vegas gets an NHL team this season.

Several of the hockey teams are located in southern cities that have no business having a hockey team.

In the NBA, I'd like to see teams in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and St. Louis instead of ridiculous locations like Memphis and Oklahoma City. The Sonics should have stayed in Seattle and the Grizzlies should have stayed in Vancouver. Those two teams were good rivals for each other.

As far as the Raiders go, I'm holding out some hope that the Las Vegas deal falls through because the Raiders best home is Oakland and that's where they should stay.

I'm hoping for the Cleveland Clowns to move to Las Vegas if the Raiders deal falls through, London, or just fold!

The Clowns aren't even a team, their mathematically eliminated even before the football season starts!
