View Full Version : Antenna TV Morning Schedule
cfr1970 09-19-2017, 11:43 AM I loved having The Patty Duke Show come on at 11am weekdays after Father Knows Best. Now they throw her back to 9am when i'm still sleeping and put that obnoxious little brat Dennis the Menace at 11.
That kid was so annoying one wonders why Mr. Wilson didn't bury him in his backyard. I hate that kid. His parents should have put him into a home for special children. I hope Patty Duke goes back to 11am next schedule change and throw Dennis to 4am where he belongs. End rant.
I really don't like how Night Court is on during the day, when it should be on at night and reduced to two airings.
tlc38tlc38 09-19-2017, 11:52 AM I love Dennis the Menace but I do agree that he should've been attended to better. Mr. Wilson should've called DFCS.

That's on Laff, not Antenna TV.

I know that. :P

If he was more endearing like the kid on Hazel, I could tolerate him but he's just an unlikable little boy. I get the whole premise is that he's a "menace" and causes mischief, but he comes off as such a trouble making brat that needs good slap right across his face. And his parents were complete buffoons. Mr. Wilson should've just moved lol.
mets82 09-19-2017, 05:51 PM Except for Father Knows Best, I don't think the schedule is that great. I don't know if its the shows or/and the fact it's the same shows.

I am glad they left Father Knows Best untouched at 10am but do agree they could use a wider variety of shows to liven things up. I'm anticipating the new ones that are coming, especially Alice, but it seems like it's taking forever since they announced it well over a year ago by now.

Wonder what other shows are coming?
BigManMike 09-19-2017, 07:15 PM I love Dennis the Menace but not on Antenna Tv with the credit crunch. It's available to stream for free on Shout Factory TV.
mets82 09-19-2017, 07:32 PM Not to veer off track but even Antenna TV's website is underwhelming. If go to ME-TV's website I think its fantastic. They have quizzes and interesting facts.
Svenfan1234 09-19-2017, 07:40 PM Antenna TV is 100x better than Logo at least. Logo just haphazardly cuts out whole scenes,no matter how important the content in the scene may be.

METV's website is really cool!;) The quizzes are so much fun!!! :)

From what I've read on this site, the kid had a horrible childhood in real life. I've also read somewhere that he was originally written, in the first few episodes, as a holy terror. But after that they tried to tone him down, somewhat. I guess that's why they have him always wearing that fake smile--that's what gets on my nerves.

That's it! I couldn't exactly pinpoint just why I can't stand this little boy, but it's that fake smile he's always got on. Like he's not innocently and unknowingly causing the trouble he does (which would make the character endearing), but he's doing everything on purpose just to piss everyone off and enjoying it. A little blond Damien lol.
