What a lucky kid. Ronny had a real father and a father in Andy Griffith. What an amazing father and son relationship. You can't fake that love between two actors.

It was so apparent, and neat to know that Andy had such a great role in Ron's life. One realized that Andy Taylor and Andy Griffith had to have a lot of overlap to be so genuine onscreen!

Thankfully, Mr. Howard has had a much less troubled life than did the late Mr. Griffith's own son who predeceased him did. I can't help but imagine that that had to haunt Mr. Griffith the last part of his life.
