Did anyone notice the cast at the end of Wally's track meet it was all the kids in Miss Landers' class like Richard, Harry and Penny when they should have had Lumpy, Coach Henderson and Eddie Haskell. I thought it was the cast from the episode Beaver's Secret Life.

This wouldn't be the first time an old show got the wrong credits tacked on. If that was on today I haven't seen it yet, but I'll check the producer/writer/director credits on the web, and compare those, too. Chances are, if it's wrong on MeTV, it's wrong on the DVD set, too.
On the syndicated Father Knows Best, they have many episodes with wrong credits.

Those end credits, with wrong cast and writing credit to Wilton Schiller/Connelly/Mosher, go with the previous episode, as you surmised.
I checked the DVD set, and the credits are correct (I'm glad, because I wouldn't want to think the "kept," remastered copy is wrong--so it's probably just a MeTV editing error). I noticed when checking Wiki for the credits that Rich Correll is in the cast. Huh? He sure wasn't in the MeTV episode. So I checked the DVD, and there is a long (probably unnecessary) scene where Beaver and Richard are talking in the kitchen. It's right after the scene where Beaver is lying on the bed, not doing his homework. Maybe now that we've pointed it out, MeTV will add it back in.

Richard is in Wally's Track Meet? Maybe he's talking to Richard about helping Wally get back on the team. I do recall a scene where Beaver and Richard are at the table maybe eating a banana. Maybe that was Larry.

Richard and Beaver are in the kitchen, eating cookies and drinking milk. Right, Beaver is telling Richard about going to the track meet (the towel scene hadn't happened yet). June enters toward the end of the scene and there's some more dialog among the three of them. If I were a MeTV editor looking to cut a scene for time, I'd have cut this one, too.
They cut way too much already!
