In 1992 Sophie B. Hawkins released the album that would make her a household name called Tongues And Tails and had many hits from that album. In 1994 Sophie B. Hawkins released the album Whaler which had the hit As I Lay Me Down and that's the song that made me a fan of Sophie's music and after that in 1998 she released the album Timbre. Prior to becoming famous in 1992 most people knew Sophie B. Hawkins from appearing in commercials for Nestle's Alpine White in 1990 in which she sang the jingle too and by first making her debut as a percussionist in the band Roxy Music and by being discovered by singer Bryan Ferry
