According to nickandmore, and promo of Nick@Nite, and website, The Goldbergs is joining Nick@Nite lineup starting Mon Sept 18, the times will air late Mon Sept 18/Sept 19 1:06AM and 1:39AM every single day.
What's surprising is that ABC renewed season 5 and season 6, and season 4 finished in 2017, so I am guessing this is the first time Nick@Nite acquires current running sitcom airing in local networks.

The Goldbergs has also joined first syndication airing on Sept 11 today on local networks, for where I live in Fort Wayne, it will air in NBC.
It will also air TVLand and POP but dates are not yet mentioned..

So any thoughts?

Why are current sitcoms showing? Shouldn't classic ones be showing?

Here's my opinion: why the f**k does Nick@Nite play too MANY COMMERCIALS during Goldbergs??!! The block needs to shut down, losing viewers and more people complain on facebook

The timeslot sucks for this awesome show. Pop is currently showing it on it's network already. Even going as far to add episodes on their on demand channel. I haven't seen anything about TV Land announcing it's premiere date and or timeslot.

I've been checking facebook nick at nite every day, and number of likes for nick at nite page have been dropping constantly/frequently, it's down to 129,884 likes. One month ago earlier Sept were around 129,980ish number of likes..
It might be because of viewers see too many ads on Goldbergs, it turns out they were tuning off the network and changing the channel.

Like you said timeslot 1AM from the start is not good, and made it worser by moving to 2AM slot.

Agreed the pushback only hurts their ratings. I honestly could see this giving them a huge boost if they could secure a 11pm timeslot. Giving enough time for their Friends and Full House blocks. In a just world Goldbergs would get a 10pm timeslot for Monday-Friday. I feel like this show was them desperately trying to bring new viewers in. Well as indicated it failed when they doomed it with a bad schedule.

I don't think Goldbergs could fit in any time slot no matter what. For one time only they tried 8PM hour slot on Sun Oct 22, and still did not help. 7PM hour had Dude Perfect Show and it scored 0.8 viewers. Goldbergs scored 0.5-0.4 viewers still.

I don't know if you noticed, as of currently Fresh Prince returned to 10pm hour, Full House 8PM-10PM. And I checked these ratings, and they are still suffering lows averaging 0.7-0.4 viewers, ratings has been down so far. Nick@Nite seem to run out of ideas what other shows would replace primetime (other than movies that seem to do lot better than other shows). Goldbergs would definitely not give a boost after Fresh Prince or Full House.
This week is currently running season 4, and after finishing season 4, on Monday Nov 6/early Tues Nov 7, the cycle will start with season 1, but only start with episode 2. If this happens and ratings still get lower, I don't see this show will stay much longer

If the movies are doing better than the shows, don't be surprised if Nick at Nite becomes a movie channel.
