Was watching an early "What's my line" episode today and one of the guests was Hank Ketchum... Out of 4 panelists, two guessed #1 which was correct and the other two split between #2 and #3..... Briefly interesting....

So if Ketcham was #1, was the guy named "Ketchum" #2 or #3....? Was it actor Dave Ketchum?

That's not the only instance the late Mr. Ketchum wrought confusion.

I remember watching a children's cartoon variety show back in the 70's which had live action guests (I think it may have been the "Krofft Supershow" but I'm not sure). Anyway, one time they had Mr. Ketchum on and had a softball interview with him before having him 'interact' with a cartoon Dennis! At one point when the cartoon Dennis got especially bratty, Mr. Ketchum tried to put a stop to it by exclaiming ' I am your half-father!'

I had no idea what that was supposed to mean and I still don't (and yes, I know the actual origins of the comic strip). :eek3:
