I would've included Alice and Perfect Strangers on this list but it looks like they're finally going to get completed in the future.

As for Knots....I always hear the same about it ....sells were poor for the first 2 seasons released.

The Fall Guy! ‎November 4, 1981 – May 2, 1986 5 Seasons!

Season 1 was release in the U.S. June, 2007
Season 2 was only released in Germany 2009 but a region 2 was never released for the North American market however!

Many of the original episodes were altered to prevent lawsuit from those who would potentially claim copyright violations by Fox - 20th Century. It too bad that Fox still has not release the complete set even with the alterations to the episodes. The pilot episode had Paul Williams face blurred out and his song substituted.

Email Fox 2018 and they have no plans to release anymore seasons.

Police Story - Created by E. Jack Neuman, Joseph Wambaugh. With Scott Brady, Mel Scott, Don Meredith, Joe Santos. Classic anthology series, which details the personal lives of the men and women of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Season 1 has been release but nothing after that. It ran from 1973-1979.

These above are what I would fully buy that only got a single release or a few seasons.


I'd also buy Head Of The Class, Amen, The Golden Palace, The Ropers, Models Inc., Titans, North Shore, Pacific Palisades and Cane if they were released.

At this point I’ve either given up on a few shows being officially released so I’ve turned elsewhere to get them or I’ve just lost interest in them. I’m not sure if they were released if I’d buy them or not, it’d depend on the price.

However, there are a few shows I REALLY want officially completed on DVD:
1) The Beverly Hillbillies
2) Petticoat Junction
3) Amen

It’s a shame TBH & PJ are owned by CBS. If any other company owned these series, they would’ve been released years ago.

I can think of a few things I'd like to see released:

The 3rd and final season of The Flying Nun needs to be released.

The 3rd and final season of The White Shadow needs to be released.

Forever Fernwood, follow up series to Mary Hartman, needs to be released.

The Joey Bishop Show sitcom needs to be released again, and this time with all uncut episodes. The previous release was garbage with edited episodes.

A holy grail release for me would be That's Life, 1968-69 musical/comedy series with Robert Morse and EJ Peaker. Unfortunately, chances for this series coming to DVD are likely very slim, there are several songs performed in each episode and I imagine it would be difficult and cost prohibitive to clear everything for a DVD release.

I could probably come up with a few more, but these five are what come to mind for me at the moment.

I'd mostly like to see a complete series set of St. Elsewhere & Empty Nest, and the remaining seasons of Blossom and The Love Boat. There are also shows I'd buy if they were available but that's different from Holy Grails: to name a few I'd buy Benson, 227, Silver Spoons, Evening Shade, It's a Living, Head of the Class, The Hogan Family, Murphy Brown and My Two Dads if they were available but they aren't really what I'd call "top wants" for now.
