I discovered a song by The Moody Blues called Your Wildest Dreams that was from the 80's and when I heard the song it made me think that The Moody Blues was planning a comeback tour to support their album. Until I had discovered this song the only songs I knew of The Moody Blues were Nights In White Satin Go Now and Tuesday Afternoon and so it makes me think that The Moody Blues was introduced to a new generation of fans in the 80's. I don't know when in the 80's The Moody Blues released Your Wildest Dreams but it's an awesome song

The song came out in the late 80s. And yes, that was their comeback.

The Moody Blues in fact really never left in the 80's; they had a very thriving career all through the 70's and early 80's before " Your Wildest Dreams" took off in 1986. There were albums such as 'Long Distance Voyager' in 1981, with the big songs "The Voice" and "Gemini Dream" which got significant radio airplay, then 'The Present' in 1983, which featured popular tracks as "Sitting At the Wheel" and "Blue World". After the "comeback" success of 'The Other Side Of Life' and the track "Your Wildest Dreams", they did have some success with their 1988 album 'Sur La Mer' and the track "I Know You're Out There Somewhere".

Of course, "Your Wildest Dreams" was the biggest hit out of all of them, or at least the standout track.

Great fact about The Moody Blues's career in the 80's. I also listened to the song The Voice and it was a cool song and I actually learned about The Moody Blues because my aunt liked a few of their songs and my mom had a cassette of The Moody Blues as well. It's amazing how bands can make a huge comeback and continue to amaze fans and The Moody Blues proves it

Yes were definitely one of the bands in the 70's who would record songs that would take up entire album sides! "Close To the Edge" was one such track. The entire 'Close To the Edge' album had only three songs on it!

That's one of my favorite songs of theirs. One of a kind band with a very unique sound.

In my opinion they only had GOOD stuff until thier 1972 album,then they became crap!!

I dont like anything from them after 1972.......
