This was another summer for the books... I tried to get my friends to go with me to places that I can't go to since I have no car and others do.

But they're all busy and can't do it! I even made a group page on Facebook and I got no replies or they said they're busy!

It looks like I have no choice but to form my event planner on meetup.com. But I feel odd by having total strangers as the people to take me places... should I form the post on meetup.com and aim for a better summer next year? Or... should I just get a car and once summer arrives again go by myself?

I'm sorry but I'd rather stay at home instead of having strangers take me places. I just don't trust that easily.

I belong to a walking group on meetup.com. We meet at different places and walk, sometimes hike in the nearby hills.

No one drives others anyway.
