For some photos I don't see the photos, but instead see "please turn on blah blah blah (I can't remember correctly)... something to do with Photobucket and third-party sharing"... can anybody help?

Photobucket changed their terms of service a few months ago by making members pay a "membership fee" in order to be able to share their photos on other sites (3rd party hosting).

I have since moved to Flickr.

Ok, here's the message:

"Please update your account to enable 3rd Party hosting. For more information,go to..." Is this a problem on my end? I've never signed up with an account with Photobucket, so I've absolutely no clue. Help would be appreciated.

Oh, I was wondering what was going on because I knew I had never used Photobucket before... and now some people's old pics of websites I go to affiliated with that website say that so I can't view them.

This is why I will always use Imgur.

Yep!! Many wonderful pictures that Torgo sent me from Photobucket that I posted on ODAAT threads of Michael Lembeck have been lost! :(

An update to this is that Photobucket has now allowed free accounts again.

All of those "error" photos are now back up.
