Something about this case rubbed me the wrong way. The aunt described being in the delivery room and noticing that the baby was not tolerating labor well. She noticed his heart rate dropping every time mom would push. Why not mention this to the doctor? The doctor herself should have been paying attention to the baby's statistics, but if she wasn't, why not mention it? I feel the outcome could have been a lot different had they performed a c-section.
