I'd say Season 15 was the last hope I had for Family Guy... They didn't have many Stewie/Brian eps, it was mostly Peter Griffin and he became more of an ******* than ever! ALSO...I hate it when Seth MacFarlane slams Christianity on Family Guy...he didn't do it to an extent until the 2000's! He commits blasphemy only to grind people's gears! And his Liberal views are straining Family Guy as well! Nordy 09-02-2017, 11:54 AM I really haven't watched this show in so long I almost forgot about it. It used to be my favorite. The whole Vinny/Brian thing did it for me also. Svenfan1234 09-02-2017, 11:58 AM I guess I never really understood why Family Guy is so popular, and I still don't. Nordy 09-02-2017, 12:11 PM I think it was just a show that was funny at one time. You really didn't have to think about it but when it was just the same thing over and over I lost interest. Retro4Life 09-02-2017, 06:51 PM The original run was good. At first I dismissed it as a blatant Simpsons ripoff but when they aired it on Adult Swim I really grew to enjoy it. I also think the first two or three seasons after it returned to the air in 2006 were pretty good. After that, it went downhill quickly. The writers are almost transparently bored, they have gutted the characters so that they are all just hateful people, and the jokes are indeed repetitive. I haven't seen a new ep in several years. king of comedy 09-03-2017, 08:13 AM I'd say Season 15 was the last hope I had for Family Guy... What did you mean? king of comedy 09-04-2017, 09:06 AM He has become a big a-hole not only to Meg but to everybody. |
