Did anyone notice all the different dresses that June wore in that episode? She had a different one on in every scene and some you never saw again. We often saw the same dresses throughout the series. Hey also when Fred comes to the door in the morning he says he'd like a cup of coffee but never does drink it.

If you watch meals and coffee on most shows, they don't come close to finishing the food or the drinks.
June may have changed dresses but she probably had the pearls on every time.

You're right. Sometimes when they eat very rarely are they shown putting food in their mouths. Almost like they can't say their lines if they are chewing. Once, however Beaver is eating his hamburger too fast and Ward says chew your food. Beaver says the butcher already chewed it up. Another question for ya. What do Charles Fredericks, Eddie Haskell and Angela Valentine have in common. Oh and Wally too.

Most shows and movies they don't eat like normal people, they nibble if they do actually eat...unless of course the scene is about eating, and they don't have to worry about lines.
Yes it is because they don't want a mouth full of food if they have dialogue, or the food isn't very good.

Rarely do performers eat onscreen due to the dual issues of multiple takes and set-ups per scene (close-ups, medium shots, establishing long shots) as well as the food getting colder and less edible as the shot progresses. Both Mary Beth McDonough and Charlotte Stewart have fessed up (as newbies) mistakenly eating 'normally' on camera for one shot then having to repeat the process multiple times so all the shots would match until they were each ready to burst- and they each said they were careful to never repeat that mistake again.
As to Violet and Beaver? I think had they each been slightly older AND could forget about her being Lumpy's sister, it could have worked.

They probably learned this early on (generally), but they never fill a coffee cup up...most often they're half-filled. It makes sense.
I liked that scene in a recent episode, where Ward was cooking dinner. The boiling noise was so obviously a sound effect, and nothing was really boiling. Then he was seasoning the meat, and Wally told him he was using June's bottle brush.

I liked how June was stirring a pan that was only water and love the fake boiling noise in the pan. My favorite is in Eddie Spends the Night. After breakfast Eddie is going to wash dishes. He doesn't realize the camera is on his hands and is pretending to turn on faucet. It's obvious he's just making motions with his hands.

So anyone know what Charles Fredericks, Eddie Haskell, Angela Valentine, Larry and Wally have in common. Also Whitey often threatens to do this.
